A goodwill agreement was signed between the senior managements of Türk Telekom, ZTE and Netaş, who came together at the GSMA Mobile World Congress, one of the most prestigious organizations of the technology industry.
Türk Telekom CEO Ümit Önal said, “While leading Turkey’s digital transformation, creating sustainable values in all areas, especially technology, is one of our primary goals. “We continue to develop projects that will transform the power sources of our technologies into sustainable energy sources and provide resource optimization and energy saving with artificial intelligence solutions,” he said.
Türk Telekom, which has taken important steps with its investments in Solar Energy Systems (SPP) and electric charging stations to contribute to environmental sustainability, announced at the GSMA Mobile World Congress that it will cooperate with ZTE and Netaş within the scope of the implementation of new generation green networks and applications for sustainable technologies. Türk Telekom signed a Goodwill Agreement (MoU) with Netaş, Turkey’s leading system integrator, and ZTE, the world’s leading information and communication technologies solutions provider, the main shareholder of Netaş.
Innovative applications in telecommunication infrastructure
Within the scope of the cooperation; The use of solar energy systems in the infrastructure of mobile base stations, the application of artificial intelligence-based smart software solutions that dynamically make load prediction and resource optimization according to the traffic rate on the base station, the use of data center servers using new generation liquid cooling technology (LIC-Liquid Immersion Cooling) and new Efforts will be made to save energy by controlling and closing PON ports that are not used in next-generation fiber network solutions with smart algorithms.
Making statements at the signing ceremony held at the GSMA Mobile World Congress Türk Telekom CEO Ümit Önal, “As Turkey’s leading telecommunications company, we collaborate with the world’s leading technology companies and work determinedly to bring our country together with new generation technologies. One of the companies we collaborated with to accelerate Turkey’s green technology transformation was the local technology company Netaş and its global partner ZTE. “I hope that the Goodwill Agreement we signed with ZTE and Netaş, which are currently our infrastructure solution partners in the fields of access, IPTV and end devices, for the implementation of new generation green technologies in our country, will be beneficial,” he said.
