If we start with Intel’s Arrow Lake series, the Core Ultra 200 processor family will appear on two different platforms, including desktop and laptop computers, and will come in four main segments. These are “S” for desktops, “HX” for high-performance laptops, “H” for performance laptops, and “U” for low-power designs.
According to the leak, Arrow Lake-H processors will carry a GT2 level GPU based on the Arc Alchemist Xe-LPG + graphics architecture. The HX series, on the other hand, will retain the existing Arc Xe-LPG iGPU, similar to the desktop variants. Arrow Lake-U processors are powered by Arc Xe-LPG+ iGPU in GT1 designs. Also in the new leak N3B fabrication process for Arrow Lake-H is pointed out.
This means Intel is still leveraging TSMC’s process node for its next HX chips. However, we will encounter the N4 process in the iGPU section.
We also know that Intel will expand the feature set and offer more flexible DRAM options in the Panther Lake series. This means that we will not be limited to 16 GB or 32 GB LPDDR5X capacities. Moreover, a recent Dell leak confirmed that Intel Arrow Lake-H/P/U processors are targeted for early 2025, likely at CES 2025. Panther Lake processors will go on sale in early 2026.
