Türk Telekom is increasing contracted internet prices

Recently, we shared with you the increases in uncommitted internet tariffs shared by Türk Telekom, which will be valid as of July 1. Today, it was announced that there will be an increase in contracted internet tariffs.

In the statement made by Türk Telekom on X, the following was said:

“Information about Wholesale Internet Tariff Update: As Türk Telekom, which pioneers Turkey’s digital transformation, we continue our fiber infrastructure investments in every corner of 81 provinces in order to provide the infrastructure needed by new generation technologies.

Effective July 1, 2024, broadband wholesale pricing will be updated. The reflection of the price regulation at the wholesale level on retail internet fees will be determined within the scope of the relevant internet service provider companies’ own strategies.

It is anticipated that this increase will reflect 15 percent to 25 percent on the final consumer. For committed subscribers, the relevant update will occur following the end of their contract period. “We will make it available to the public.”
