In fact, we start our news by saying that everything started with the iPhone 12 Mini. Even though the technology world has pushed this issue into the background, Apple started to make some experiments with the iPhone 12 Mini in 2020. Unfortunately, the Mini series, which started with the concept of achieving big things in small sizes, was not popular.

Subsequently, Apple eliminated the Mini series and replaced it with the Plus series. Plus models, which do not have any significant difference from the base models, are on sale for users who prefer a somewhat larger phone. However, the desired success was not achieved from the Plus series. That’s why Apple is preparing to appear on the scene with a new model that can be called “unique”.

We probably won’t see this unique model with the iPhone 16 series. Because all the information points to the iPhone 17 model. In fact, all the claims about the new thin iPhone model revolved around the 17 Series.

The current name given to the thinner iPhone 17 model is Air. The model, which is expected to be released under the name 17 Air, this name will probably change many times until September 2025, will be much thinner and lighter. The model will have a smaller Dynamic Island, aluminum casing and a 6.6-inch screen size.

This model will be the new bridge model between the base iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Pro. Unfortunately, it won’t happen anymore with the Plus series. Apple has tried smaller and larger model options so far. Next is something more subtle. If it doesn’t happen this time, it is possible that we will move into the foldable iPhone era.
