Instagram States That Posts It Cannot Remove Are Still Against Community Guidelines

As you know, Instagram, which has been blocked from access in our country since the beginning of August, started to serve again in Turkey as of 21.30 yesterday. Making a statement on the subject, Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu announced that an agreement was reached with Meta and Instagram accepted the conditions offered by Turkey.

Last night, the changes Instagram made to its platform within the scope of the terms it accepted began to emerge. It was revealed that the famous social media giant left warning notes on some posts that it could no longer restrict in Turkey.

The first of these notes was seen in a post made by the Minister of Culture and Tourism, Mehmet Nuri Ersoy, on July 31. Instagram responded to the current post by saying, “This post is against our Community Guidelines but was left on Instagram for public awareness.” He has fixed his grade. Although the popular platform has used the note in question in a few more posts, it is worth noting that the same note is not found in all similar posts.
