In the past, especially before Turkey was removed from the F-35 program, it had close relations with our country.

With the cancellation of the F-35 sale, negotiations were held for F-16 Block 70. Bilateral talks are still continuing and no negative situation has occurred yet.

Accordingly, Türkiye will purchase 40 F-16 Block 70 and 80 modernization kits. Apart from this, when we look at the F-16 orders from other countries, it is known that Lockheed Martin has prepared a total of 128 orders. In short, these are very profitable periods for the company.

The company sees this process as a great opportunity. OJ Sanchez, the company’s Vice President of F-16 and F-22 Programs, states that they have a great opportunity for sales, but they also want to increase their production capacity. They aim to order approximately 300 new F-16s.
