Apple plans to release a Mac mini with an M4 processor before the end of this year. According to Bloomberg, this new device will be available to users in October. The new Mac mini is expected to be close to Apple TV 4K in size.
The Apple TV 4K measures 3.1 x 9.3 cm, while the current M2 Mac mini measures 3.6 x 19.7 cm. The new Mac mini is expected to have an aluminum case like its predecessor and come with two different processor options, one M4 and the other M4 Pro.
The new Mac mini is expected to have three USB-C ports. In addition, an HDMI input and a power cable input are among the members of the new Mac mini’s input line-up.
Apple will take the M4 processor to other products besides the Mac mini
Apple is expected to renew its current iMac and MacBook Pro models with the M4 processor this year. Mac Pro, Mac Studio and MacBook Air models will meet the M4 in 2025.
