Samsung, PUBG
announced premium phones that support the game at higher frame rates. The popular battle royale game published by Krafton can be played on Android and iOS devices. Previously, the game was supported at up to 90fps (frames per second). With the latest update, this speed has been increased even more. Samsungannounced which smartphones will support this high frame rate.

Especially PUBG Mobile‘s latest v3.2 update brings with it new modes including new items, new scenes, new mechanics and 120fps frame rate. While high frame rates provide a smoother gaming experience, low frame rates cause in-game movements to appear choppy.

Samsung The community post explained that the optimizations will come with the latest Game Optimization Service (GOS) and Game Booster apps. These apps are pre-installed on most Samsung Galaxy smartphones and tablets.

The post did not specify whether other Samsung models would receive this support later. The models for which optimizations are currently supported are: Samsung Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, Galaxy S24 Ultra, Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, Galaxy S23 Ultra and Galaxy Z Fold 5.
