Meizu Note 21 series has completed the certification process

Meizu is preparing to launch its new affordable smartphones Meizu Note 21 and Note 21 Pro soon. The main reason why these phones are considered affordable is that they do not offer 5G support. According to the information revealed in the FCC certification, both models only support 4G connection. This may be an indication that Meizu will not offer Note 21 and Note 21 Pro for sale in all regions.

Meizu Note 21 and Note 21 Pro models will probably be available in several regions in the global market. However, it is not yet clear in which countries it will be sold. Following FCC certification, design details, connection options and more of the devices were revealed.

Meizu Note 21 will be released with the model number M411H. This device, which will have three cameras and a flash on the back, will come out of the box with the Android 14 operating system. Measuring 167.8 mm long, 77.4 mm wide and 9.1 mm thick, Note 21 has a very thick structure. Additionally, this model will have a large battery with a capacity of 6000 mAh.

In addition to not offering 5G support, the Meizu Note 21 series does not support Wi-Fi 6 connection. The devices will support 2G, 3G, 4G and Wi-Fi 5 connections. Since there is no LTE FDD B20 band support, these models are not expected to be available for sale in Europe.

Meizu Note 21 Pro will appear with the model number M412H. This device will also come with Android 14 operating system. Note 21 Pro, which is slightly thinner than Note 21, will be 168.5 mm long, 76.6 mm wide and 8.35 mm thick. There will be two cameras and an LED flash on the back. Note 21 Pro is expected to have a thinner and more aesthetic design.

The fact that both models do not offer 5G and Wi-Fi 6 support is cited as a reason for their affordable prices. These feature deficiencies may be part of Meizu’s strategy to keep the new Note series in a more accessible price range.
