We say goodbye to AI chatbots that imitate the characters of celebrities, which attracted great attention last year. Meta decided to shut down these robots. If you are using this service, there is no need to worry, because Meta brings the much smarter AI Studio service instead.
Meta famously shut down AI chatbots! It was replaced by AI Studio
Now everyone will be able to build their own AI chatbot. Meta introduced its AI Studio service so creators in the US can design and use their own AI chatbots. This new direction for Meta will allow users to add more creativity and personal touches.
Meta spokesperson Liz Sweeney explained that we will no longer be able to interact with AIs that imitate celebrities’ characters. But they’ve learned a lot from this process and can’t wait to see how people use AI, she said. AI Studio offers a space where people can create and use AI in their own way. So, it’s a case of creating your own unique AI.
Originally, Meta had introduced AI chatbots to celebrities like Charli D’Amelio, Dwyane Wade, and Paris Hilton, and was planning to add names like Bear Grylls, Chloe Kim, and Josh Richards. However, these plans fell through. It was even rumored that Meta paid millions of dollars to some celebrities for portrait rights.
Although the famous AI chatbots have not lived up to expectations, Meta still has high hopes for the future of AI chatbots. CEO Mark Zuckerberg has repeatedly expressed his confidence in chatbots. Meta AI assistant is now used on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Messenger and WhatsApp.
