Technology giant Meta is preparing to break new ground in the world of artificial intelligence… According to reports from The New York Times and other sources, the company is about to make agreements with very famous names to be used in future AI projects… Here are those names and the details of the planned agreements…
According to information from sources close to Meta, Meta has started to meet with many famous Hollywood stars and artists for the new generation artificial intelligence model. Meta’s target list includes stars such as Awkwafina, Keegan-Michael Key, Snoop Dogg and Judi Dench.
The company has offered millions of dollars to acquire the rights to use these celebrities’ voices to train AI voice clones. If all goes well, all of these agreements are expected to be finalized before the Connect 2024 event and will be officially announced at the event.
Interestingly, Scarlett Johansson’s name is not among the names Meta is after. Meta may have been a little intimidated by the fact that the star, who has had disagreements with OpenAI in the past, was disturbed by the process and sued the company.
This initiative by Meta brings to mind the company’s recent famous move towards AI chat bots. The company, which works with famous names such as Paris Hilton and Snoop Dogg, did not receive the attention it expected. As you may remember, Amazon also made similar attempts, but this feature was completely removed from the application in 2023.
