Microsoft Copilot Can Now Be Your Phone’s Default Assistant!

The latest update to the beta version of Microsoft Copilot allows you to replace Google Assistant or Bixby with the AI ​​assistant as your Android phone’s digital assistant of choice.

The Android operating system doesn’t restrict users to just being able to use Google Assistant as the default digital assistant. In fact, if you were using a Samsung device, you could choose between Google’s choice, Bixby, or even Amazon or DuckDuckGo. Now Microsoft Copilot also joins these options.

Increasingly popular on phones, Microsoft Copilot even has an outstanding rendering tool, powered by the latest work from DALL-E. Being able to create images only from a phone application was highly praised by users.

Copilot Is Now a Real Google Assistant Competitor

In a new beta build first spotted by Mishaal Rahman, Microsoft Copilot is now included in the list of available digital assistants on your phone. After selecting Microsoft Copilot as the default assistant, Microsoft Copilot can be accessed by pressing and holding the power button or, in some cases, by swiping up from the bottom corner of the phone.

Of course, the shortcut in its current form needs some more work. Although users expressed some complaints about the chat window opened by the shortcut, we should point out that the developers continue to work on the application.
