Microsoft developed for iPhone users Phone Link continues to add new features to its application. The company has started testing a feature that enables file sharing between iPhone and Windows PCs. This innovation is currently only available to users participating in the Windows Insider program.
The new file sharing feature makes it easy to send files from iPhone to PC or PC to iPhone. iPhone users can use the iOS sharing page to share files on their devices and send the file to a Windows device of their choice via the “Link to Windows” application. PC users can send the file to their iPhone by right-clicking on the file they want to share and using the “My Phone” option.
This feature Phone Link app version 1.24112.89.0 or higher It can be used by users who install it. It is not yet known when the feature will be available for all users.
Microsoft has been developing the Phone Link app for both iOS and Android for years. However, the iOS version still has some limitations due to Apple’s operating system restrictions. For example; Last year, a feature such as sending and receiving iMessage messages was added to the application. However, this feature is limited to individual chats only and does not support group messages. Additionally, iMessage integration requires the app to be open and messages are transferred via Bluetooth.
With new features like file sharing, it’s clear that Microsoft aims to offer a more comprehensive experience to iOS users. These innovations are expected to be available to all Phone Link users soon.
