Microsoft’s Surface and Windows AI Innovations event announced

Microsoft has quietly announced that it will hold a “digital event” for Surface, Windows and Copilot later this month. The “new era of business” themed event, which will take place on March 21, targets Microsoft’s business customers. As previously rumored, it will focus on unveiling the new Surface Pro 10 and Surface Laptop 6 devices for businesses and upcoming AI improvements in Windows 11.

Commercial versions of the Surface Pro 10 and Surface Laptop 6 will include minor feature improvements, according to sources familiar with Microsoft’s plans. Microsoft also plans to offer an OLED display on the Surface Pro 10, targeting individual consumers. The company is expected to announce this product later in the spring.

The new Surface Laptop 6 may be the most interesting device thanks to its new design, which is stated to include thinner display bezels, rounded corners, a haptic touchpad, and two USB-C and one USB-A ports. Microsoft is expected to launch both Intel Core Ultra and Snapdragon X Elite-based models of its latest Surface hardware. Intel models are expected in April, and versions with Arm-based processors are expected in June.
