Modern Warfare III is coming to Xbox Game Pass

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, released last year, is included in Xbox Game Pass as of today. Thus, a Call of Duty game was added to Game Pass for the first time; Since Microsoft now owns Activision Blizzard, there will be no PlayStation-specific CoD game after Modern Warfare III.

The game will be available on Xbox Game Pass, PC Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate as of July 24. Microsoft announced an increase in Game Pass prices a while ago.

Microsoft announced price increases for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass earlier this month. The arrival of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III on Game Pass may alleviate the pain of the price increase, which has reached over 25 percent in some regions. It is worth remembering that Turkey is among the regions with a high rate of increase.

While the price increases will become valid for new members as of July 10, existing members will face increased prices as of September 12. While the monthly price of Game Pass Ultimate subscription increased from 209 TL to 309 TL, the monthly fee of Game Pass Core and PC Game Pass increased from 159 TL to 175 TL. Game Pass Core’s 12-month subscription fee, which is 959 TL, is updated to 1399 TL.

In addition to price updates, Microsoft is also making some changes to subscription options. Game Pass for console will no longer be available to new members. However, current Game Pass for Console subscribers will be able to continue their subscription if they enable the automatic payment renewal feature. On the other hand, Microsoft plans to launch a new subscription option, Xbox Game Pass Standard, in the coming months.

Another game will be added to Game Pass after Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III

Microsoft is preparing to add Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 to Xbox Game Pass in the coming months. Current Game Pass for Console, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers will have access to Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. New members will need to be an Ultimate or PC Game Pass subscriber to play Black Ops 6 from day one.
