Negotiations started for e-Government export

While Türkiye celebrated the 16th anniversary of the e-Government platform, it also registered its success in digital transformation. According to the statements of Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu, e-Government Gateway, which started out with 22 services, today includes 8 thousand 316 services and provides access to 1079 institutions.

e-Government enters the export process

Reaching 96 percent of the population over the age of 15 with approximately 66.7 million registered users, e-Government is among the world’s leading digital government applications.

Citizens can access a wide range of services such as Social Security Institution (SGK) transactions, traffic fines, retirement information and tax debt through e-Government.

This intensive use is an important indicator that e-Government provides time and cost savings for both citizens and the state. The platform, with an average of 11 million logins per day, stands out as a public service that makes life easier.

Minister Uraloğlu also underlined that e-Government is on its way to becoming a global brand. Following the e-Government infrastructure implemented in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), Türkiye now aims to export this knowledge and technology to other countries.

With this project, which is planned to focus on countries in the “heart geography” in the first stage, Turkey aims to take an important step towards becoming an international actor in the digital field. In this way, Turkish technology will be introduced and foreign currency inflow will be provided to the country.
