Skodahas launched the second generation of Kodiaq, which achieved great success with the first generation it introduced in 2016, for sale in Turkey. What does the new Skoda Kodiaq offer with its features?
Having an aerodynamic design in every detail, Kodiaq’s drag coefficient has been reduced to 0.282 cd. The rear design of the Kodiaq was also characterized to show off the vehicle’s large interior volume. In addition, there is a wider C shape at the rear of the new Kodiaq, and the lighting group is integrated with a sharp design with crystal elements.
Drawing attention with its stylish design, Kodiaq’s dimensions have also been increased and its already large interior volume offers more living space in the new generation. The length of the new generation Kodiaq increased by 61 mm to 4,758 mm, its wheelbase increased by 3 mm to 2,788 mm, and its width increased by 2 mm to 1,864 mm. The height of the vehicle was reduced by 13 mm and was designed as 1,668 mm. The luggage volume increased by 75 liters compared to the previous generation, reaching 910 liters and stands out as the leader of its segment. When the seats are folded, the luggage volume increases to 2,105 liters.
A completely new and technological cabin
Each of these smart buttons, which can be pressed and turned at the same time, provides easy access to various vehicle functions. Features such as temperature, seat heating/cooling, fan speed, ventilation direction, sound settings, driving modes or map zoom in/out can be managed from these buttons. Kodiaq, which will have Head-Up Indicators, also offers a 10-inch Digital Instrument Panel as standard. In the cabin, which has become more stylish and elegant, the gear lever has been moved to the steering column, offering more practicality in the living area.
Kodiaq’s interior also focused on sustainability. All fabrics used in the seat upholstery, carpets in the cabin and luggage compartment, as well as the ceiling, are made of 100 percent recycled polyester.
New Simply Clever features include a storage compartment that can be hidden in the center console and a storage compartment in the central tunnel in front of the sliding rear seats. The second generation Kodiaq also included a door edge protection feature.

Kodiaq, with a 2.0-liter TDI unit producing 193 HP and 400 Nm of torque, is offered with four-wheel drive. Providing high traction and safe driving in all conditions with its automatic torque distribution feature, the model completes the 0-100 km/h acceleration in 7.8 seconds. Kodiaq with 2.0 liter TDI engine has an average consumption of 6.3 lt/100 km. However, all Kodiaq versions are paired with a 7-speed DSG dual-clutch automatic transmission that combines performance, comfort and efficiency.
