New Developments from the Highly Anticipated Bioshock Movie: What’s the Status of the Project?

NetflixThere has been a new development about the long-awaited Bioshock movie. According to Variety, the film is still in production, but its budget has been reduced.

The statement was made by Roy Lee, one of the producers of The Lego Movie, at San Diego Comic-Con. Lee stated at the panel that the budget was reduced and the film was restructured to have a “more personal” structure.

Additionally, director Francis Lawrence will continue his role on the project. Lawrence has previously directed films such as The Hunger Games series, I Am Legend and Constantine.
