Crashing problems occur in new generation Intel processors. The bug, which affects the 13th and 14th Generation models, causes popular games to crash. It has been stated that this problem is experienced in many games such as Warframe and Fortnite.
Crashing issue occurs on Intel 13th and 14th Generation processors
According to their developers, new generation Intel processors cause problems in many popular games. Warframe’s developer team stated that users with Intel’s 13th and 14th generation processors experienced high crash rates.
According to the developer’s statement, even basic tasks in the game cause the system to freeze completely. Although the BIOS update helped resolve the issues, developers believe the problem goes deeper.
A similar situation was experienced by Alderon Games, the developer of Path of Titans. According to the developer, crash rates have reached 100 percent on 13th and 14th Generation Intel processors.
Alderon Games stated that they observed a 100 percent failure rate in their tests and that Intel CPUs deteriorated over time. It was announced that this situation seriously compromised the game performance. To alleviate the problem, Alderon Games decided to switch its servers entirely to AMD. After this decision, Intel’s problem grew even bigger.
Epic Games also said that Fortnite, which has millions of players, frequently crashes on these Intel processors. Intel is investigating the issue but has not yet made an official statement.
GameOthers admit that performance has deteriorated over time. Accordingly, they had to switch to completely new AMD systems. It should be underlined that there were no similar errors on the AMD side.
