These models, which broke sales records in Turkey, were offered for sale at Borusan Otomotiv Authorized Dealers. Borusan Otomotiv Chief Executive Officer Hakan Tiftik, in his speech at the event, drew attention to MINI’s success in Turkey and said, “The MINI family undertakes a mission to carry forward its 65-year legacy. Electric MINI sales in Turkey increased 5 times compared to last year. “This success shows how strong progress our MINI brand is making towards electrification.” he said.
The new MINI Cooper models attract attention with their 240 mm diameter round OLED screen. This screen, which works integrated with MINI Operating System 9, allows intuitive control of the infotainment system and driving support features. Features such as Comfort Access System, Parking Assistant and Driving Assistant are among the standard equipment.
While the MINI Cooper 5 Door offers both performance and fuel economy with its 156 horsepower engine, the MINI Cooper Convertible takes driving pleasure to the next level with its convertible roof and 204 horsepower engine. John Cooper Works versions were offered to MINI lovers with their sporty design and high performance.
MINI’s electric model, the electric MINI Countryman, was among the most preferred models in Turkey. Borusan Otomotiv continues to play a leading role in the electrification transformation of the Turkish automotive industry. MINI Eastern Europe and Africa Regional Director Daniel Miethaner stated that Turkey was the country where MINI grew fastest last year and said, “MINI Türkiye has achieved significant success in electric vehicle sales worldwide.” he said.
