OnePlus Ace 3 Pro significantly stood out from its competitors among flagship phones with a 6,100 mAh battery, but the Chinese company apparently aims much further.
Digital Chat Station, famous for its leaks, shared on Weibo: OnePlus ve OPPOHe claimed that he is currently working on a phone with a 7,000 mAh battery. The post also underlines that the battery can be used in a mid-segment phone.
Of course, this will not be the first phone with a 7,000 mAh battery, because we have previously seen phones from Samsung with batteries of similar capacities, such as the Samsung Galaxy F62 and Galaxy M51. Still, all of these phones generally had thick and heavy designs. That’s why most high-end Android phones have been limited to 5,000 mAh in recent years.
As you may remember, OnePlus recently introduced a new battery design in the Ace 3 Pro as part of its technology called Glacier Battery. Silicon-based batteries typically have a higher density than traditional batteries, providing more capacity in a smaller battery.
OnePlus isn’t the only company using silicon-based batteries in its phones. Although other brands such as HONOR and Xiaomi have also launched phones with this technology, the new phone with a 7,000 mAh battery will apparently lead to the creation of an important standard.
OnePlus is preparing to be released again with 12 new color options. Those who want a cheaper flagship phone have started to wait. Here are the details!
