Unfortunately, Nike, one of the world’s leading sports brands, has made a sad decision. While the company stated that it stopped internet sales in Turkey, it cited the recent changes in our country’s customs legislation as the reason for this decision.

With this decision, when we enter the company’s website, we see “Shopping is not currently possible on Nike.com and Nike App in Turkey.” The phrase appears. However, it is worth noting that despite all this, the products continue to be listed.

Considering Nike’s statement, the thought that this is a temporary situation comes to mind. The company underlined that they will continue to monitor the situation and provide the best service to consumers in Turkey.

Here is Nike’s statement;

We continue to examine the impact of the latest changes in Turkish customs legislation on the shopping experience of our consumers in Turkey. In this process, as Nike cannot guarantee that our consumers’ orders will arrive smoothly and on time, unfortunately we have to suspend online orders from Turkey for now.

Unfortunately, due to the recent changes in Türkiye’s customs legislation, shopping via Nike.com and Nike App is not currently possible. We apologize for the inconvenience experienced while we are examining the impact of this change on our consumers’ shopping experience.
