HMD Global, the licensee of the Nokia brand, is preparing to expand its smartphone family inspired by the Lumia series. The company, which last announced a device called Skyline, is now HMD Hyper working on it. What does the mid-range smartphone promise?
HMD Hyper features leaked
In terms of design, the HMD Hyper will be similar to the Nokia Lumia-style Skyline that was launched a few weeks ago. It will have a flat screen with wide bezels and curved edges. It is stated that the screen will feature an FHD + OLED panel with a 120Hz high refresh rate.
Hyper will likely be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset and 8GB of RAM. It will come with 256GB of internal storage and will also include a microSD card slot.
It was stated that the cameras on HMD Hyper will include a 50 Megapixel main sensor with OIS support. It will also have a 13 Megapixel secondary and 8 Megapixel third sensor. On the selfie side, it will have a 50 Megapixel front camera that can record Full HD video at 60 frames per second. It is claimed that the rear camera can shoot 30 FPS 4K video.
Other features include a 4700mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. This shows that it will have lower specifications and be cheaper than the Skyline.
