Nubia Flip 2 introduced, here are its features

Nubia Flip 2 was quietly introduced in Japan after being spotted at the TENAA certification two months ago. Drawing attention with its foldable structure, the device offers an improved cover screen, water resistance features and a new Mediatek chipset. This model, which belongs to the ZTE brand, will be available in Japan starting from January 23.

On the inside of Nubia Flip 2, there is a 6.9-inch AMOLED screen that offers Full HD + resolution. This screen has a hole-punch design for the 32 MP front camera. Instead of being located under the screen, the fingerprint scanner is located on the side, integrated with the power button.

There are two vertically aligned cameras on the back of the device: 50 MP main camera and 2 MP depth sensor. The cover screen has been enlarged compared to its predecessor and reached 3 inches. This screen, with a resolution of 682 x 422 pixels, allows quick notifications and access to some applications. However, it is not yet clear whether there will be special applications for this small screen.

Nubia Flip 2 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300X chipset. This chipset stands out as a version optimized for dual-screen smartphones. The device offers 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage and runs on Android 14 operating system.

There is a 4300 mAh capacity battery inside the phone. This battery, which offers fast charging with PD 3.0 support, can be fully charged in 55 minutes, according to Nubia’s claim. The device provides protection against water drops with its IPX2 certification and against objects larger than 1 mm with its IP4X certification.

According to the official page of the device, Nubia Flip 2 is equipped with many artificial intelligence features. An artificial intelligence assistant that is compatible with popular applications specific to Japan especially attracts attention. There is also an AI feature that can send automatic responses when the user cannot find their phone or does not want to answer.

How much should you pay for Nubia Flip 2?

Flip 2 comes in black, white and blue color options. In Japan, Yahoo! It will be available for sale via Mobile with a price tag of 64,080yen (14470 TL). The official sales start date of the device was announced as January 23.

Nubia Flip 2 can strengthen its position in the foldable phone market as a model that attracts attention in terms of both hardware and design. It is currently unclear whether this model will be offered for sale in the global market.
