Chery Tiggo 8 PLUS comes with a sharp front design and more powerful engine
First of all, the front design of the new Chery Tiggo 8 PLUS model has been completely renewed. The front grille has a curved structure and contains dot-patterned elements on the inside. The headlight group at the top has a different internal structure than the current model and has a sharper appearance. The lower headlight group is connected to the front grille with a black trim panel.
This design really adds a strong and modern atmosphere to the car. The dimensions have also changed slightly: the length of the new model is 4730 mm, its width is 1860 mm, its height is 1740 mm and its wheelbase is 2710 mm. It’s a little longer and lower than before, so it looks both sporty and elegant.
On the side, the hidden door handles and roof rails immediately attract attention. There are big changes at the rear. Now the taillights are in the form of a wide strip and Chery’s English logo is located inside the lamps. The lower part has black trim and double-sided exhaust outlets.
The new Tiggo 8 PLUS comes with 1.6T and 2.0T engine options. The 1.6T engine produces 145 kW and the 2.0T engine produces 187 kW. So, it is also quite assertive in terms of performance. These engine options have the same power values as the engines in the current model, but are expected to offer a much more efficient and powerful driving experience with new designs and improvements.
The current Tiggo 8 PLUS model was launched in October 2020. The new model will be released later this year. The price range of the previous model varies between $17,500 and $21,000. The price of the new model has not been announced yet, but it is expected to be in a similar price range.
