Eurosport will bring the Paris 2024 Olympic Games to sports fans in cooperation with BluTV, one of Turkey’s leading online video platforms. The games, which will be held in Paris between 26 July and 11 August, can be watched on Eurosport 1 and Eurosport 2 channels. Additionally, viewers will be able to closely follow all the excitement and details of the Olympics with Eurosport’s 7 pop-up channels, which can be accessed via BluTV.
Warner Bros. Eurosport, which will host an Olympic event for the first time under the umbrella of Discovery, will broadcast the Paris 2024 Olympic Games in 47 countries and 19 different languages. This year’s opening ceremony will take place on a 6-kilometer course on the River Seine in Paris on July 26, making it the first opening ceremony to be held outside a stadium in Olympic history.
Our National Athletes will be in Paris 2024
At the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, our women’s volleyball team will play its first qualifying match against the Netherlands on July 29. In addition, many of our national athletes such as Mete Gazoz in archery, Taha Akgül in wrestling, Buse Naz Çakıroğlu and Busenaz Sürmeli in boxing, and Hakan Reçber in taekwondo will represent our country. A total of 102 athletes will compete for medals in 18 different branches.
Sports fans will be able to watch world-class sports such as athletics, swimming, gymnastics and cycling on Eurosport 1. Eurosport 2 will present new generation sports as well as events missed in Eurosport 1 to the audience. Eurosport’s 7 pop-up channels, numbered 3 to 9, will feature various sports such as racquet sports, golf, artistic sports, football, basketball, combat sports, handball and volleyball.
Live broadcasts from across Europe with more than 400 commentators will cover 329 medal events. Eurosport aims to offer viewers an uninterrupted Olympic experience.
