PC app for Sony PS VR2 coming in August: Steam VR games can now be played on PS VR2

Sony’s new PS VR2 PC app allows you to use your PlayStation VR2 headset and PlayStation VR2 Sense controllers on your PC. With this application, you will be able to experience all VR games and applications on Steam. It will also allow you to install PS VR2 on PC and update the firmware of the headset and controllers. Moreover, you will be able to adjust settings such as game area and screen brightness via the SteamVR control panel.

Of course, there are some requirements for this experience. First, you will need a PlayStation VR2 PC adapter to connect PS VR2 to PC. This adapter will be available on August 7 and costs $59.99. In addition, you will need a DisplayPort 1.4 compatible DisplayPort cable, a Steam account, and a PC that meets the minimum system requirements. So you’ll need to do some preparation.
