PlayStation owners in Turkey noticed something at midnight last night. The prices of some PlayStation games in Türkiye had increased significantly. As the hours approached the morning, more users noticed that more PlayStation games were priced higher. Looks like the PlayStation castle has fallen too…
It seems that PlayStation Türkiye game prices are now being increased in Euros
As you know, PlayStation Türkiye office has been closed and the distributorship now belongs to Bilkom. However, Bilkom has no control over game pricing. There is no official statement from Bilkom or PlayStation yet. However, the updated prices show that PlayStation game prices in the Turkish store will now be priced according to European pricing. That is, in Euro terms.
Among the games whose prices have increased massively and which players have noticed are:
- God of War: Ragnarök: 2.799 TL
- Assassin’s Creed Shadows: 2.799 TL
- Call of Duty: Black Ops 6: 2.799 TL
- Black Myth: Wukong: 2.499 TL
- Star Wars Outlaws: 2.799 TL
- Silent Hill 2: 2.499 TL
- Marvel’s Spider-Man 2: 1.999 TL
Many games continued to be priced higher throughout the night, and it looks like the prices of even more games will become more expensive. The average PlayStation Türkiye store price of AAA category games is now around 2,500 TL.
As we said, it looks like the players in Turkey have lost another goal. All that’s left is the Xbox store and Epic Games for PC players. We hope those platforms continue to provide local pricing for Turkish players. Otherwise, it looks like we won’t be able to play games anymore.
