Poco F3 found life with Xiaomi’s HyperOS update

The distribution of Xiaomi’s Android-based operating system HyperOS is gaining momentum. While this update was primarily focused on entry and mid-level devices, it has now started reaching certain models in the mid-to-upper segment. POCO F3, one of the popular products of Xiaomi’s sub-brand POCO, has joined the list of devices that received the HyperOS update, even though it is more than three years old.

Innovations that HyperOS offers to POCO F3

POCO F3 was previously offered in different markets under the names Xiaomi Mi 11X (India) and Redmi K40 (China). The update for this device coincided with the recent release of its counterparts. POCO F3 users were eagerly waiting for HyperOS to arrive.

HyperOS promises a more personalized user experience, especially on the lock screen. Users can expect a wider range of customization options, including new clock styles, fonts, wallpapers and widgets. Additionally, the control center will have a cleaner and more modern design compared to its previous version.

Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor with a 7nm manufacturing process and running at a frequency of 3.2 GHz, this device offers smooth performance. While the device offers 128GB storage capacity, a 256GB option is also offered to users along with 6GB RAM and 8GB RAM. The 6.67-inch E4 AMOLED display offers peak brightness of up to 900 nits. This display is also equipped with a 120Hz refresh rate for smooth scrolling and HDR10+ support for vibrant colors. Additionally, Corning Gorilla Glass 5 provides a layer of protection against scratches and accidental drops.

The arrival of HyperOS on POCO F3 demonstrates Xiaomi’s commitment to providing the latest software experience to its users across its device portfolio.
