POCO F6 officially confirmed
According to information obtained from the HyperOS database, POCO F6, “Peridot” It will be the second model with Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 with the code number (model number N16T). Apart from this, it is stated that the price-oriented model will be based on the Redmi Note 13 Turbo. Moreover, the leak source also shared some of the camera features of the device.
Going back to Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, the new platform is a mixture of Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and Gen 3. Based on the 4nm fabrication process, the chipset has 1x Cortex X4 3.0GHz, 4 Cortex A720 2.8GHz and 3 Cortex-520 2.0GHz cores. The clock speed of these cores is lower than both models.
In addition, the processor does not support 8K video recording and there are limitations in the AI department. However, it should not be forgotten that it will offer impressive performance compared to its cost. Poco F6 is expected to be announced in April or more likely in May.
