Popular Nintendo emulator now comes to iPad

Threadsshared an update revealing that an iPad app is in the works and has been prioritized since Apple changed its tune on game emulators.

iPad app is “nearing completion,” and Testut’s Patreon subscribers can get it via AltStore, an alternative marketplace the developer created several years ago to sideload iOS and iPadOS apps. Otherwise, you can wait a bit for Delta to arrive with its next major update, version 1.6.

Testut also in the post iPadHe also shared a small preview of how it will work in . Delta was released as the successor to Testut’s Game Boy Advance emulator GBA4iOS and supports numerous other Nintendo systems, including NES, SNES, N64, and DS.

iPad version won’t take too long to complete — Testut wrote that the team just needs to “finish controller skins and fix some recent bugs.” Testut wrote that they are also working on device-to-device multiplayer (though that still has a few items on the checklist). He also said that as an added bonus, a SEGA Genesis emulator is on the way. This is still in beta, but will be available “soon.”
