Realme is preparing to introduce Realme GT 6 in the global market and India on June 20. With just a few days left until the launch, the company is busy confirming the key features of the phone. The brand recently announced the device’s chipset, battery size and fast charging features. Now it has announced the main and telephoto cameras of Realme GT 6.
According to official information about the camera of Realme GT 6, the device will have a 50 megapixel Sony LYT-808 primary camera with OIS (optical image stabilization) support. This camera stands out with its 1/1.4 inch sensor size and wide f/1.69 aperture. Other high-end phones such as Realme GT 5 Pro, OnePlus Open, OnePlus 12, Oppo Find X7 and Oppo Find N3 also feature this flagship-level camera.
Along with the high-performance Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, GT 6 is expected to offer high-end photo quality. The company also confirmed that the GT 6’s main camera supports 4K Dolby Vision video recording. The main camera will be accompanied by a 50-megapixel telephoto camera with 47mm focal length. The camera setup is also thought to include an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, although the brand hasn’t specified it yet.
GT 6 will support Realme’s HyperTone Image Engine, and this technology will improve the quality of photos by processing images in RAW format with artificial intelligence. Additionally, the photography features of the device will include various modes such as Texture Portrait, Quick Shot, Night Mode, Star Mode, Street Mode, AI Smart Lift and AI Night Sight. Camera samples of the device were also shared on the X platform.
As for other specifications, it has been confirmed that the Realme GT 6 will have a 5,500mAh battery and support 120W fast charging. The device will be equipped with an 8T LTPO OLED display provided by BOE, which will offer maximum brightness of up to 6,000 nits. For a smooth performance, the device will include LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. It will also have the largest 10,014 mm² dual VC cooling system in the world.
