The success of Rockstar Games’ last two games, Grand Theft Auto (GTA) 5 and Read Dead Redemption 2, continues for developer and publisher Take-Two Interactive.

Read Dead Redemption 2 has now sold 61 million units. The entire Read Dead series has sold more than 86 million copies in total.
With GTA 6 in development for release in 2025, the company is focused on the launch of what is expected to be the biggest video game of all time.

Zelnick, “I think the excitement around GTA 6 has created a halo effect throughout the series.” he specifically talked about the GTA 5 sales mentioned above and GTA Online’s performance above the company’s expectations.
