Red Magic’s new phone pushes the performance limits

Red Magic, the brand known for its gaming phones, introduced its new model, the Red Magic 9S Pro series. This new phone aims to take the mobile gaming experience to the next level with its advanced features and smart artificial intelligence features.

Red Magic 9S Pro series comes with the REDMAGIC 9.5 operating system, which offers gaming-oriented features. This system is based on Android 14 and includes new and improved AI features. Smart Navigator, one of the prominent features, offers real-time suggestions for popular games and makes it easier to find answers to quick questions thanks to its voice typing feature. The AI ​​Trigger feature assigns customizable actions to the shoulder buttons, allowing the phone to recognize the player’s playing style and automatically perform the movements.

Voice Recognition feature helps in decision making by automatically recognizing in-game voices. REDMAGIC Moments allows you to instantly capture and edit screenshots and videos and turn them into wallpaper for the game lobby. The improved AI Assistant draws attention with its voice-activated functions and dynamic game-themed screen. Advanced scene recognition makes in-game AI responses more precise. Additionally, REDMAGIC Cube offers various AI tools in-game, such as photo editing, wallpaper creation, and text writing.

Red Magic 9S Pro series offers 120Hz refresh rate and 960Hz touch sampling rate with its 6.8-inch Full HD + OLED screen. With its 1600 nits peak brightness, the screen provides a clear image even under bright light and reduces eye fatigue during long gaming sessions. The rear camera setup consists of a 50MP main sensor (Samsung GN5), 50MP ultra-wide sensor (Samsung JN1) and 2MP macro camera (GigaDevice GC02M1). The front camera is a 16MP selfie camera placed under the screen.

Red Magic 9S Pro and Pro+ models offer high performance with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. Both models come with up to 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and storage options range from 256GB to 1TB. In this way, a large area is provided for games and media.

ICE 13.5 cooling system is used to keep the phone cool during long gaming sessions. This system includes a 10182mm² vapor chamber plate, a high-speed fan rotating at 22,000 rpm and a new cooling gel. These features prevent overheating while maintaining performance.

Battery and charging features are also noteworthy. While the Red Magic 9S Pro model has a 6500mAh battery and 80W fast charging support, the 9S Pro+ model offers a 5500mAh battery and 165W fast charging support.

The Red Magic 9S Pro series is available in various models and prices. Prices start from $660 and go up to $962. Red Magic 9S Pro and Pro+ models will be available for order starting from July 9, 2024. The international version will be announced on July 16, 2024.
