Xiaomi attracts attention with the Redmi K70 Ultra, which it plans to launch soon in China. Ahead of the launch, this smartphone was seen listed on Geekbench with model number 2407FRK8EC. It was also spotted in the IMEI database with the same model number.
In terms of performance, according to Geekbench results, the K70 Ultra scored 2218 points in single-core tests and 7457 points in multi-core tests. This high performance confirms that the device will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ SoC chipset based on TSMC’s 4nm manufacturing process. This processor includes an eight-core structure consisting of one Cortex-X4 core running at 3.4GHz, three Cortex-X4 cores running at 2.85GHz and four Cortex-A720 cores running at 2.0GHz.
Durability is also one of the highlights of the K70 Ultra. Xiaomi has officially confirmed that this device will have IP68 certification. This certification shows that the phone will be dust resistant and water resistant for 30 minutes in fresh water at a depth of 1.5 meters.
Regarding charging capacity, K70 Ultra will offer 120W fast charging support. Also, according to rumors, Xiaomi may offer variants with 24GB RAM and 1TB storage capacity. It is expected that the device will come with a 5500mAh capacity battery and this battery will support 120W fast charging.
In terms of cameras, it is stated that the front camera of the Redmi K70 Ultra will be 20 megapixels and there will be a triple camera setup on the back consisting of 50 megapixels, 8 megapixels and 2 megapixel sensors. On the screen side, the device will be equipped with a flat 8T OLED panel with 1.5K resolution and 144Hz refresh rate. Additionally, the phone’s durability is reportedly increased with a metal middle frame.
Redmi K70 Ultra is expected to be released in the global market as Xiaomi 14T Pro with advanced cameras.
