Roblox game, where players can create virtual universes and their own games, was blocked from access by the decision of Adana 6th Criminal Court of Peace dated 7 August 2024 and numbered 2024/5282. Content that would cause child abuse in the game was cited as the reason for the access block.
Roblox said it supports regulators’ decisions to protect children. Roblox stated that it has spent nearly 20 years ensuring the safety of child players, and that tens of millions of people of all ages have a safe and positive experience every day by following the Roblox Community Guidelines.

Improving online safety and civility is an industry-wide issue, which is why we work with other platforms, NGOs, academic/industry consortiums, and lawmakers to help find solutions for bad actors. “We meet regularly with policymakers to engage in important conversations about issues affecting young people, and we look forward to this discussion in Turkey with the important goal of getting Roblox users back online as quickly as possible.”
