The Samsung Galaxy A16 model appeared in the database of the British mobile operator EE a while ago, with both 4G and 5G versions. Shortly after this, Galaxy A16 5G entered Geekbench’s records with the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor. A16 5G passed Geekbench’s test this time with a different processor.
At the heart of the second version is Samsung’s own design, the Exynos 1380 processor. The results of these two processors cannot be compared because the tests were conducted in different versions of Geekbench.
The presence of two different processors shows that Samsung will launch the smartphone with different processors in different regions. The version with model number SM-A166P will come with MediaTek Dimensity 6300. The version with model number SM-A166E will be available to users with Exynos 1380.
Samsung also preferred the Exynos 1380 processor in the Galaxy A54 and A35 models.
Samsung Galaxy A16 will come in both 5G and 4G versions
Galaxy A16 5G, which has just passed Geekbench’s test, has an Exynos 1380 processor accompanied by 4 GB RAM. Samsung is expected to offer other RAM options to its users. As we mentioned above, a 4G connected version of the smartphone will also be offered.
