Samsung’s new One UI 7 update, Android It comes with a series of innovations that will come with 15 and include major changes for Samsung Galaxy phones and tablets. While One UI 7 offers more AI functionality, it also inherits some of the iPhone’s beloved features.
Dynamic Island on iPhones is added to Samsung devices with One UI 7
Recent leaks suggest that one of the most notable changes in One UI 7 is the revamped two-page notification panel. This panel provides separate access to notifications and the Quick Settings panel. It is also stated that Samsung is paying attention to all system icons and all Galaxy applications will be completely renewed. This innovation carries skeuomorphic design cues with more depth, shadows and 3D elements.
It seems that Samsung will also implement its own version of Apple’s Dynamic Island feature with this update. The leaks include a short video showing the expansion of a timer on the status bar chip. This animation appears and disappears differently than the use of Dynamic Island on Apple devices.
Another feature that comes with the One UI 7 update will be “Continuity Notifications”. This feature will make it possible to send video calls between any Galaxy phones logged into the same Samsung account. The feature is similar to Google’s Cross-Device Services and allows you to move calls and messages between smartphones, Chromebooks, and browsers.
Other changes include more rounded UI elements, menu clicks, button placeholders, and much more. Samsung is expected to confirm the distribution of the One UI 7 beta starting Monday, so we won’t have to wait long to see how accurate these leaks are.
