Screen and camera customizations, calls across language barriers

Samsung is giving Galaxy S24 users more customization options for viewing their screen, taking photos, and even translating phone calls in real time with a new update. With this update, the ability to adjust the “vividness” of the screen colors of the Galaxy S24 models has been added. Samsung stated that this update creates a “more natural and customizable viewing experience.”

The Galaxy S24’s camera has also been updated with improvements to zoom functions, portrait mode, night photography and video shooting with the rear camera. “Based on your feedback, we aim to deliver enhanced options and experiences across the device display and camera in an upcoming update, enabled by advanced hardware and software integration efforts,” Samsung said in a statement. The company announced that it will start offering these features as of this month.

The S24’s display and camera showed some improvements over previous models, with various improvements such as foreground blur in particular standing out in portrait mode.

On the other hand, Samsung continues to work on live call translation features. The Galaxy S24 will be one of the first phones to include live call translations with Galaxy AI. Without giving details about the update, Samsung stated that it will continue to evolve Galaxy technology towards “calls without language barriers.”
