Tesla, the leading brand in the electric car industry, has come up with a very comprehensive recall operation this time. America’s National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) warned users about a problem affecting 700 thousand Tesla vehicles. The problem is that the vehicles’ tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) warning light sometimes does not stay on between rides. Here are the details…
Which Tesla models are affected by the issue?
This recall has been one of Tesla’s recent problems. Over the past year, NHTSA has issued a total of seven recalls, especially on the Cybertruck model, due to various problems such as a rearview camera, faulty wipers and loose trunk lids.
In addition, last June, Tesla sent another over-the-air update to 1.8 million vehicles, eliminating the risk of the hoods on the 2021-2024 Model 3, S and X and 2020-2024 Model Y models opening while driving if they are not closed properly.
In order to address the concerns of its users, the company stated that the problem is only software-based and will be quickly fixed with an update. If you own an electric vehicle that is included in the recall, it would be useful to check the notifications and e-mails that will be sent starting from February 15.
Despite Tesla’s frequently brought up problems, the brand has a loyal customer base. So, what do you think about these recall processes of Tesla? Don’t forget to share your opinions in the comments!
