Snapdragon 8s Elite Will Be More Performance Compared to 8 Gen 2

Qualcomm has introduced its first ‘s’ series sub-flagship chipset, the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, as a watered-down version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 while retaining the same main core.

Now that the company has introduced its latest flagship processor, the Snapdragon 8 Elite, rumors suggest that another ‘s’ named chipset may be on the way this year.

The processor, codenamed SM8735, has already appeared in Xiaomi’s HyperOS codebase. While the official name remains unclear, rumors suggest that it may be called Snapdragon 8s Elite, we learned more about the processor with the sharing of reliable source Digital Chat Station.

According to the leak, the 8s Elite will be positioned somewhere between Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and 8 Gen 3.

Despite the lack of core details, Digital Chat Station suggests that the first Snapdragon 8s Elite-powered smartphones will launch around April next year.

It was stated in the leak that a phone with a capacity of 7000mAh would also use this processor. This points to the phone Xiaomi is working on.
