SonarPen 2: Affordable iPad stylus

SonarPen was launched in 2018 as an affordable alternative to Apple Pencil. Currently, popular drawing applications such as ibis Paint X and Zen Brush 3 fully support SonarPen 2’s features such as pressure sensitivity and tilt detection. However, in unsupported applications, although the pen works like Apple Pencil, pressure sensitivity cannot be used.

SonarPen 2 is currently available for pre-order on Kickstarter. Users who order early can get the pen at a discounted price of around $32. The retail price of the product is expected to be $45. It is stated that shipments will begin in April 2025.
