Sony’s highly anticipated ZV-E10 II camera launches on July 10. The camera, which is expected to be introduced with the new APS-C zoom lens, is specially designed for content producers.
According to SonyAlphaRumors, one of the reliable sources, it is stated that the ZV-E10 II will come with a 26MP APS-C CMOS sensor. This sensor will be the same sensor used in the popular A6700 model. This upgrade promises better image quality and performance compared to the first generation ZV-E10.
It is rumored that the ZV-E10 II will also feature new AI-supported features that will improve autofocus capabilities, especially for vloggers. These features will allow vloggers to easily switch focus between themselves and the subjects they are shooting.
Along with the ZV-E10 II, Sony will also introduce a new E-mount 16-50mm F/3.5-5.6 OSS II zoom lens. This kit lens offers a suitable zoom range for a variety of shots, from wide-angle scenes to close-ups. Thanks to Optical SteadyShot (OSS) stabilization, it will be possible to obtain smooth, shake-free images even when shooting handheld.
While the ZV-E10 II and its kit lens are expected to be released on July 10, the status of the FE 85mm F/1.4 GM II lens remains unclear. It is stated that this high-quality prime lens will offer better image quality and performance compared to its predecessor, and will also have a lighter and more compact design. However, it is not yet clear whether this lens will be introduced on July 10.
The first ZV-E10 model was released in August 2021 and quickly gained popularity among vloggers. This APS-C camera, which has a 24.2MP sensor, offered impressive image quality even in low light conditions. Capable of recording 4K video, the ZV-E10 supported S-Log2, S-Log3 and HLG profiles.
The ZV-E10 also stood out with features such as “Background Blur” and “Product Showcase Setting”, which were specially designed for vloggers. These features provided advantages such as creating bokeh effects by blurring the background and fast focusing on the captured products. The ZV-E10 was sold for $700 for the body alone, and for $800 with the E PZ 16-50mm F3.5-5.6 OSS power zoom lens kit.
