Young people are an important target audience for you. You also created a special brand for them. When and how was this brand born?
We introduced FreeZone, Vodafone’s special platform for young people under the age of 26, in 2011. With our Vodafone FreeZone brand, we offer young people the opportunity to benefit from various portfolios and brand collaborations. We focus on meeting the needs of young people, especially in transportation, food and beverage, personal development and entertainment, with the beauties we offer under the roof of Vodafone FreeZone. FreeZone users can benefit from various privileges such as social media and game applications that do not consume their internet, GB gifts in addition to the tariff and cash refunds from the most popular youth brands.
You have launched a new campaign that will contribute to the budget of young people. Could you tell us about the content of the campaign? What benefit do you offer?
As Vodafone FreeZone, we add value to young people’s lives and are always there for them with innovative benefits in areas where they can socialize without worrying about budget obstacles. In our new campaign, Vodafone FreeZone users earn up to 1,500 TL in cash back every month by making all their expenses, from food and beverage to entertainment, from clothing to transportation, with Vodafone Pay from contracted institutions. With the campaign period, we are increasing the total monthly benefit we provide to our FreeZone customers by offering opportunities in more categories and brands. Our customers can get cash refunds from many brands such as Migros Yemek, Hepsiburada, Defacto, Biletinial, ByNoGame and benefit from the cash refund opportunity every month without chasing a discount code. Thus, we enable young people to earn as much as they spend and offer them opportunities to socialize comfortably.
With the new campaign, as Vodafone, we aim to enable our customers to benefit more from our digital products by combining the strengths of our companies in the field of telecommunications and financial technologies. In this regard, our Vodafone FreeZone customers earn cash back by spending on contracted brands with Vodafone Pay, our electronic payment company that reaches 8.5 million users, and feel the advantages of their digital wallets in every field. Our campaign aims not only to make payments easier, but also to make young people’s spending more enjoyable.
How much cash refund is available per brand?
Young people with Vodafone FreeZone will receive 200 TL at Biletinial, 100 TL from brands available on Click and Come, 200 TL for spending 1,000 TL at Defacto, 150 TL for purchases of minimum 300 TL from Hepsiburada, 100 TL at Migros Yemek, Travel. 200 TL, stationery and cosmetics at Yanimda We offer a cash refund of 100 TL on valid brands in each category, 10% on every online load for Istanbulkart, 75 TL on Hop rides, 100 TL on game spending through ByNoGame, and 50 TL on Microsoft Game Pass purchases. FreeZone users can also benefit from up to 50 TL in mobile bill payments via Vodafone Pay; On average, you can get a refund of up to 75 TL for institutional bill payments such as electricity, water and natural gas.
How can young people benefit from this campaign?
Vodafone FreeZone users who download the Vodafone Pay application select special campaigns for themselves, press the “Join the Campaign” button and make their spending from these brands with their Vodafone Pay card. If transactions are made in the store, TR QR Code (QR) in the Vodafone Pay application can also be used. The cash refund amount is deposited into the customer’s Vodafone Pay account 1 day after the expenditure is made.
In order for Vodafone customers under the age of 26 to access cashback benefits and additional GB benefits, they must either own their line or define themselves as a “mobile line user” if their line has been taken over by a relative.
