Special Consumption Tax discount for rechargeable hybrid vehicles

The amendment to the law, which also includes special consumption tax incentives for hybrid vehicles that are rechargeable and have a range of over 70 km, was published in the Official Gazette.

According to the law numbered 7521 in today’s issue of the Official Gazette regarding the amendment of some laws and statutory decrees, the weighted per kilometer of hybrid electric vehicles that can be charged from outside the vehicle. carbon dioxide emissions below 25 grams ve electric-only range 70 kilometers and above vehicles will be taken as basis.

According to this;

• Those whose engine volume does not exceed 1,600 cm3 and whose SCT base does not exceed 1.35 million TL 30 percent,
• Those whose engine volume does not exceed 1,600 cm3 and whose SCT base exceeds this amount 60 percent,
• Those whose engine volume exceeds 1,600 cm3 but does not exceed 1,800 cm3 and whose SCT base does not exceed 1.35 million TL 70 percent

Special Consumption Tax will be collected.

We can say that this rate was roughly 80 percent before.

The new regulation will be valid from today.
