The new compact DC-powered Starlink Mini is the size of a thick laptop and the Wi-Fi router is integrated directly into the dish. Although it uses less power than other Starlink terminals Speeds over 100Mbps can offer. According to Elon Musk’s post, the installation of the product is completed in less than five minutes.

Starlink Mini has dimensions of 298.5 x 259 x 38.5 mm; 15 meters DC power cable and with support stand 1.5 kg weighs IP67 has the certificate. It can operate at temperatures between -30 degrees and 50 degrees.

First Starlink users to purchase the Starlink Mini kit 599 dollars will be able to purchase. That’s $100 more than the standard Starlink kit. Existing subscribers will be given the option to purchase the Mini Roam service in addition to their plans for $30 per month. Data usage is limited to 50GB per month. SpaceX aims to reduce the price of the kit. As of now, there is no standalone Mini Roam plan.

Starlink Mini will be available in July. This option will undoubtedly interest travelers. SpaceX CEO Elon Musk says Starlink Mini may be the best and lowest-cost option for backup internet connection in case the landline goes down.
