TEKNOFEST Efficiency Challenge electric vehicle races have started

This year within the scope of TEKNOFEST 12 – 17 August It will be held at TUBITAK Gebze Campus on , A total of 631 teams applied The International and High School Efficiency Challenge Electric Vehicle Races were found successful as a result of report and video evaluations. 73 teams qualified to come to the race area. The teams that qualify to come to the race area will compete fiercely on the track located in TÜBİTAK Gebze Campus between 12-17 August.

The competition aims to produce the most efficient vehicles, from their design to their technical equipment; While it is aimed for students to gain knowledge and experience in vehicle technologies, they are also encouraged to have the opportunity to do research on the subject and follow the developments in the world.

The competition aims to popularize the use of alternative and clean energy sources in the automotive industry and to raise awareness by attracting public attention about the use of alternative energies in vehicle technologies. Electric car (battery powered electric vehicle) and Hydromobile (hydrogen powered electric vehicle) in two categories being edited.

Turkish or foreign undergraduate, master’s and doctoral students and high school students studying in Turkey and abroad participate in the competition. Winners of the competition Over 1 Million TL reward will be given.
