With a new regulation published in the Official Gazette recently, additional customs tax was imposed on products ordered from abroad and the shopping limit was reduced from 150 euros to 30 euros. Among those affected by the regulation is China-based e-commerce platform Temu, which has reached a wide user base in a short time. Temu has become rapidly popular in Turkey in recent months. According to these data, the number of monthly active users in Turkey has reached 9.3 million, while the number of daily users of the platform is around 1.4 million.
