According to a statement from Tesla Türkiye, Model Y SR began to be listed on 24 April 2025 on the company’s online inventory page as of 17:00. It was stated that the vehicles were produced at the Berlin Gigafactory facility in Germany and were referred to the country within the scope of a priority shipping program to Türkiye. Since all color options are offered in the same tax tranche, users will not encounter additional tax burden according to color preference. At the first party, a high number of vehicles were added to the inventory. However, a new bulk listing is not planned this week.

The new model Y SR contains remarkable updates compared to its predecessor in terms of design. On the front side of the vehicle, the new generation of headlamps connected to each other with thin LED strips differs. Similarly, horizontal LED line lighting stands out in the back. Thanks to these touches, the vehicle has a more dynamic and sharp appearance. Thus, the model Y becomes more integrated into Tesla’s overall design line.

The brake system of the vehicle comes with regenerative features renewed

The new model Y SR also draws attention with its technical features. In the version with 19 -inch wheels, 593 kilometers of range is offered according to the CLTC standard. When the rim selection is 20 inches, this range drops to 559 kilometers. These values ​​offer sufficient performance for users in urban and short distance driving. The range capacity stands out as a result of Tesla’s energy efficiency -oriented engineering approach.

The regenerative brake system, which is included in the vehicle, aims to improve driving experience. This system activates regenerative or mechanical braking according to the pressure applied when the brake pedal is pressed. Thus, the vehicle both provides energy recovery and extends the life of the brake components. It is stated that this system will make a significant contribution to driving comfort especially in urban use. Tesla emphasizes that this structure offers a softer and more predictable braking experience.

There are various innovations in the interior. In the model Y SR, the gear lever is completely removed and the gear shifts are redesigned to be made on the touch screen. However, the signal arm remains standard. An additional screen for the rear seat passengers is included in the cabinet. This screen has been functional for both multimedia use and in -car settings.

Among the updates made at the hardware level, the new sound system with 16 speakers and the RGB ambience lighting attracts attention. The rear seats of the vehicle can be folded electrically with a single touch. In addition, the sound insulation in the interior is increased by using acoustic glasses in the new version. The cooled seats are among the innovations that come with this version.

In terms of charging performance, the Model Y SR offers a maximum of 250 kW fast charging support. This aims to increase the user experience by shortening the waiting time on journeys. Considering that Tesla develops its vehicles directly with autonomous driving oriented, the Model Y SR includes a double hydraulic brake circuit in this direction. One of these systems is structured to provide driver control and the other to provide autonomous control.

The model, which will be added again in the coming weeks, is expected to exhaust in a short time due to limited stock. Tesla is expected to introduce the performance version at a later date.
