Samsung’s new Galaxy S25 Ultra model continues to come to the fore with leaks just days before the launch. However, the latest information is not very encouraging for users in Europe. It is claimed that the model with 16GB RAM will be exclusive to the Asian market only. Here are the details…
The 16GB RAM model will only be sold in Asia!
Chunvn8888, one of the reliable leak sources, claimed that Samsung will offer the Galaxy S25 Ultra model with 16GB RAM only in China, South Korea, India and Vietnam. If this information is correct, the most powerful model for users in Europe and other markets will be limited to 12GB of RAM.
Since the Galaxy S24 Ultra also comes with 12GB of RAM, this won’t mean a major upgrade for most users. However, the 16GB RAM option was seen as one of the biggest advantages of the new generation device. Samsung making such a move may lead to criticism, especially in terms of creating regional hardware differences in a flagship device.
Leaked images show that the Galaxy S25 Ultra’s S Pen may lack Bluetooth support. If this information is correct, features such as gesture control, using it as a remote camera shutter, and taking quick screenshots may be disabled.
It is also stated that the new S Pen has 4,096 pressure levels, but the tip thickness has increased to 1.5mm. Compared to the 0.7mm tip on the previous model, the Galaxy S24 Ultra, this change may affect the writing and drawing experience.
Samsungwill introduce the Galaxy S25 Ultra at the Unpacked event to be held on January 22. All technical details of the device and regional hardware differences will be clarified at the event.
So, what do you think about Samsung keeping the 16GB RAM model only for Asia? How do you think this affects the brand’s strategy in the global market? Don’t forget to share your opinions in the comments!
